The Center for Faith and Spirituality partnered with the Office of Equity and Inclusion and Breaking Barriers to welcome Rev. Dr. Latoya Thurmond to Interfaith Lunch Thursday, March 6. Free lunch will be available beginning at 11:30 a.m, in the Todd Wehr Center Jockey Room B, with the presentation and Q&A to start shortly after.

Pastor Thurmond will share with the community around the title “Architect of Faith: design a plan to empower others,” or in other words, “Love Thy Neighbor.” Pastor Thurmond is the lead pastor of Catapult Church and Family Life Center. She is also an author of the books “The Architect’s Playbook: Strategies for Leadership, Planning and Impact” (2005) and “Help, My Business is Holding Me Hostage” (2021).

Her passion for helping people motivated her to create the non-profit organization, A&S Unlimited Solutions and LMT Consulting, LLC, where she provides family enrichment programming, workshops, business start-up coaching, team building/leadership development training, and organizational personality inventory assessments.  

Pastor LaToya has a bachelor’s degree in business administration, a master’s degree in adult education, and a doctorate degree in organizational psychology.
